This is a very rare Carl Thompson 6 string fretless. CT 6 strings are rare finds but this is also a ball scroll 6. It has the EMG pickup people usually ask for. String spacing is closer to 18mm. The bass is amazing to play. I just never play it.
This was built during the time Pete was at the shop. The wood color is so hard for me to capture! It is reddish purple in the sun.

This is a really great bass here folks. And an absolutely awesome member to deal with on talkbass!
If anyone is after a Carl Thompson...this IS the bass to get!
A Pete Hilton Era build....beautiful woods...come on! This is awesome!
The secret to CT's is their unmatched playability and of course comfort!
I've also never experienced any brand capable of producing harmonics like these do!
If I had the cash, I'd be buying this one off Rich. GLWTS!
