UPDATE: Reduced to $2750, open to trade/partial trade for high-value music/audio/video gear

Rare 2003 Eastman VB200f, fully carved flatback 3/4 bass.
It's in fantastic condition, very clean looking with one back seam repair done by a respected bay area luthier. Sound is big and bold, with lots of clarity.
It has an excellent setup suitable for pizz or arco, upgraded endpin & tailwire, and sports a fresh set of Thomastik Dominants--sounds great, plays great. Includes good student bow, simple bass bag, and Realist Copperhead which works very well with this bass. It's ready for orchestra practice or a gig right now (although I'd recommend a padded bag for frequent transport).
I really like this bass....I was hoping to keep it as a backup/gig bass, but I need cash for an upcoming major move, otherwise I'd be keeping it. For pizz playing, I vastly prefer Eastman over Shen (I've owned 3 Eastmans and 4 Shens over the years). Includes a very basic cover.
Price reduced to $2800/bo
I'm selling three basses on TB right now: this one, a fully-restored 1960s German roundback, and a 1970s violin-corner roundback believed to be Roth. Serious buyers are welcome to audition all three and see if they take a liking to one. I'm in Fairfax, CA, 30 minutes north of SF. *Also, I'll be driving from SF to Seattle once or twice before winter starts, and I could potentially deliver a bass en route.*
Some dimensions, in inches:
Bottom to button: 44 & 1/4
Rib depth at waist: 9 & 1/8
String Length: 41 & 3/8
Width at lower bout: 25 & 1/2
Width at upper bout: 19 & 1/2
Bridge height: 6 & 1/4
