Details

Offering a rare 25 year old "Cunetto" relic custom shop '60 jazz bass from 1996. The first few years (1995 to 1998) of Fender relics were produced by Vince Cunetto under contract with Fender. His custom relic finishes are the relic gold standard and established the product line for Fender. Read the Fender/Cunetto back story here: The untold story of Fender’s relic guitars.
Search TB for old Cunetto sales listings..... very few ever cycle through here.

Never left my home practice space. Gorgeous rosewood fretboard. The build is top notch, crafted by Custom Shop master builder John Cruz. Weight is right at 9 pounds. I purchased this here on Talkbass last year from Nashville recording pro John Thomasson. Previously, a well cared for studio bass, professionally shielded control cavity, which sold here on Talkbass in 2012.

With this instrument you get it all: Custom Shop build quality and tone, vintage instrument (25 years old), and a collectible Cunetto.

Price is firm, thank you. Please, no trades.

FedEx Ground shipping is $90. Includes non-original fender hard case.

I, too, own a Cunetto.......Yours is Bassilicious....and Believeable. I'm TOTALLY Convinced that MANY Relics are simply WAYYYYYYYY over the Line and simply can't Understand WHY anyone would want to own them......but that's just me....... a guy who Worked as a DSM at Fender for 12 Years.

have been on nationally released albums, charting on the Billboard 200
Beautiful bass. I’m surprised it didn’t come with stacked knobs since it’s a reproduction of a 1960.
