Details

Here for sale or preferably trade is my Fender American Precision bass. Originally this bass was a Fender American Original 50s precision. I do have the original case goodies along with the ash tray bridge and pickup cover as well as the certificate of the bass. The body is made of ash. The neck came off a 2012 or 2013 Fender American Select precision bass. The neck is quarter sawn modern C shape. I swapped the bridge for a Leo Quan Badass 2 bridge but I do have the original bridge and the original neck plate. I swapped the pickups for Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder. I do not have the original pickups. The bass does come with the original tweed case. I would love to trade this for a Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray Classic 4. I can bring cash on my end for a trade. Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m asking $1250 obo

I just weight myself on my scale then weight myself with the bass and it came in right at 9.2 pounds.

Hello.

I like your bass… A couple of minor concerns I have are the mismatched neck and body, the pick up replacement )I’d have to replace tht), time and it’s a little heavier than I prefer. But it could still possibly work for me.

I have a beautiful music man classic, custom finished in a beautiful flake green with a really figured maple neck and maple fretboard. Beautiful condition, originail case, only a few light impressions here and there. If you think you might be interested let me know. No issues with playability, tone, nothing.

Do me a favor as well and let me know what you would be willing to kick in for the difference…I don’t really want to go back-and-forth negotiating, but I can send you pictures first and then if you feel its something you’re interested in let me know what you’d be willing to kick in and I’ll take it or leave it.

I really love the MM, bass but I fell into a Carvin bass that has a Musicman pick up in it and while it doesn’t quote nail the MM tone, it’s close enough for me, given that I’m jist a hobbyist. But the precision bass is my most important sound that I love so I’d rather have a nicer Precision style bass and get by with a lower end music man style.

thanks for your consideration. And I’n not kidding..this bass is a stunner.

I know what you mean when you say sticky. This doesn’t feel sticky but the original neck was real sticky feeling which was one of a couple reasons I swapped it out.
