Brand new, in my bass for 5 minutes! The tone is absolutely KILLER!!!! If any of you remember the original Bass Player shoot-out of the Aero single coils, the MP-181 got the Top Tone award. I am the MP, and these sound a TON like that original set! I just play over the back pickup all day long, because I am a band director, and always have my bass around my neck! The raised magnets bug my fingertips. So, I need some flat-topped pickups. My loss, your gain!
