Hey everyone…here is my Dingwall ABZ 5 string. I'm not 100% sure on the age. The previous owner said it was 2007, but also said the pickups are stock, and the pickups are dated 2009. So, it's likely either 07 or 09.
Body is swamp ash, with maple neck and fretboard.
Passive electronics.
I think the color is called Trans Indigo?
Pickups are Dingwall FD-3 4L, both wired in series. You might be able to see in the pictures that much of the Dingwall name has worn off the neck pickup cover.
Dunlop strap locks installed.
It's very light for a 5, weighing in at an even 8.0lbs according to my bathroom scale.
Currently has a fairly new set of Payson Nickel Steels on it.
Comes with Dingwall gig bag.
It's an awesome bass in good condition. There are some minor dings/scratches that can be seen when up close, but nothing that impacts playability or anything.
