Hi all. Recent purchase forces sale of this unique little amp. The amp has been heavily modded for use with bass guitar. I have upgraded the output tranny to a Weber WSE15 as well as multiple board level components. You’ll be surprised how good this sounds with a bass guitar and smile every time you power this little guy on! Even sounds good with my 5-strings! This amp is definitely not for gigs, but it is perfect for practicing at bedroom volumes. I will include the original components as well as a list of what was changed. Price is shipped.

So I had a PM from a TB member about what I modded in this amp. I removed and installed larger capacitors in both the power and preamp sections, doing so yielded much better bass response. I also adjusted the bias to both the preamp and power tubes. For some reason Epiphone biased the el84 and preamp tubes way too hot. This is a very common mod on these amps regardless of whether you want to use this amp for bass or guitar. All these mods together made for a great little practice amp.
