You already know. The all-time classic doubling / tripling unit with twice the power of the MI-100. Every double-bassist you grew up loving, and Jim Hall's guitar, Steve Swallow's bass guitar and Chick Corea's synths. You know that.
This is the exceptionally rare 200 Watt mono amp. The original classic 1974-1984 schematic with double the power. This is NOT the 'bridging' stereo power section with its occasional issues. $1150 shipped to the lower 48.
I bought this amp here on TB / DB about 15 years ago from STEVE Azola, then wrapping up operations building the Azola EUB . Since he was (and is) STEVE Azola this particular amp has gorgeous hardwood side-covers. That also means that this particular amp was the R&D test-rig for Azola EUBs. (The MI-100 was Don Underwood's R&D test-rig for Underwood pickups. Hand in glove there. Sounds like it's supposed to.)
This guy has been my only bass-amp since I bought it and has seen me through hundreds of gigs. It works perfectly. There's a small dent / twist at the master-volume knob but 100% function. "Your bass / bass guitar / jazz guitar but louder" at 8 Ohms, and a truly thrilling roar at 4.
I'm down-sizing back to an MI-100, which I used before the 200. You win, but don't wait for the next one.
