This a a 2001 4001 V63 that has been custom painted and modified to be like Chris Squires RM 1999. Started off as a mapleglo and was actually for the Japanese market, the original Japanese paperwork is with the instrument. My friend at Famous Guitar Replicas custom painted the bass in an exact match to Chris Squires famous cream color. Extremely well done paint job with the custom printed CS signature on the back. The pick guard was also reshaped to be more accurate like his. Wiring harness and toaster pickup are original. Modern horseshoe but the shoes have been flattened to be more like the original 60s ones. Tried to make it as accurate as we could get to his actual bass it’s still missing some small details but all in all it’s far more accurate than the CS limited edition rickenbackers that rick did in the 90s. Fantastic bass plays very well nice action and has a fantastic vintage sound. Any lefty Yes fans out there nows your time. Comes with silver rick case and original Japanese paperwork.
