Amazing Suhr Classic Jazz Antique. If you're looking for the ultimate passive Jazz bass with killer tone and amazing playability look no further. It features a nice lightweight reliced alder body, tinted maple neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard and stainless steel frets. Each Suhr instrument gets a factory PLEK job so the action can be set extremely low with zero fret buzz. ( action is currently low but can go lower without issue) The bass is super resonate just playing it acousticly so once you plug it in you are presented with a really powerful full range tone. It's also pretty light as well ( 8.6lbs on my bathroom scale) so it is very comfortable to play for hours on end. Check out the attached video for a small example of the tone you are capable of achieving with this beast. It features Suhrs factory relic job ( $300 option) which personally I think was done very tastefully. I'm not a big relic guy but I think it looks great the way it was done. The bass has a brand new set of Dunlop Super Bright Nickle Wound strings on it and will come shipped in a Suhr hardcase along with the factory build sheet. ** Note that the center latch is broken on the case** I bought it this way but the other 2 latches keep the case closed up just fine so to me it's not an issue.
