For your consideration, I bought a used Jazz V bass from an unknown seller given the specs. Turns out that while the body and neck are nice, they were mismatched and the neck is a fake, some parts were low quality, and the bass was hardly playable. This listing is for the neck and hardware that came with it. The body is being listed here, but I don't recommend you match them.
The neck appears to be in good condition, especially the wood and frets. The wood is figured, but came a little dry, but can be easily remedied and darkened. Binding and inlays are well done and smooth. Back is glossy and smooth.Looking up the serial, it's a 2011 or 2011 US made neck Obviously, it's a fake
.
Now on to some issues. While the neck is "loaded" I think there are a couple issues that you should consider. First, is the tuners. Honestly, these are not good tuners. They turn roughly and one (A) is mismatched with the others and has a flat peg. At least they're all the same color. That may not bother you and you may be able to
The second issue is the nut. I'm not very familiar with Jazz necks, but if I had to wager, I'd guess it's a cheap plastic pre-slotted replacement that wasn't filed or sorted at all. You'll want to replace or get that sorted out.
Weight is about 3 lbs with everything on it.
Price incudes well-packed shipping in CONUS. PP, Cash app, or Venmo.
This is the first time I've had to part out an instrument. I'm happy to answer any question I've missed and I'll be as open and honest as I can. Thanks!
