best envelope filter on earth. a magical funk machine.

i have one already, someone else buy this thing!!

I spent 2+ hours playing through a "clone" of this circuit. Mahhvelous! It's picky about input level/dynamics, but that's how it must be. If you have a stereo splitter, a 2-input amp and a volume pedal: blend, baby blend!

My favorite use has been to put this in a parallel loop with the sensitivity all the way down, and enjoy the beautiful sub it produces. This one can be quite smooth in response opened up, though. Probably a bit to do with the age of the circuit, to an extent.

i used to just plug my bass into one, like an animal.

no need to tame this monster.

let it rip!!

(also use a limiter after it to protect ya speakers!)

While I don't doubt it would effect the sound, I don't think I'll be running any experiments with it.
I will, however, include the 1/8" pin power adaptor for anyone that wants to.

I run mine into a JBL-loaded B18N. The compressor is more about protecting my bowels, as well any nearby wildlife...

The FX25 ("Flunkee") goes right into an FX80B compressor. Second B18 channel gets un-wahed dry signal into an FX17 wah. That DOD wah sound, man...
