Up for sale is a Sandberg TM4 in very good condition. This bass is stock with a few mods which I feel improve the bass very much. Swapped out the stock mini toggle for a three position switch and it's now wired for north, parallel, south. You essentially have the original two humbucker tones with the option for soloing the bridge coil to approximate a 70's jazz sound. This very small tweak makes this bass extremely versatile. I installed Aguilar OBP-1 boost only electronics which I find is very close to the Sadowsky sound if you like that. When I replaced the on board preamp I also installed foil shielding which is not a big deal but it is dead quiet. The last thing I did was replace the bridge with a Hipshot Type A. I did not like the Sandberg bridge as it offered no string spacing adjustment and was very difficult to adjust intonation. It's a great take on a modern fender style bass. Weight is an extremely comfortable 8.6lbs. Price is 1800, buyer pays half of actual shipping. I will provide an actual quote as proof of the cost. Comes with Sandberg gigbag. Would like to trade for MusicMan 5 string. Weight is a consideration. US Shipping ONLY Sorry.

Sorry, obviously a TM-5 not a 4 as I put in description.

Thanks for the offer and although I am open to something different I am trying to move away from the Jazz bass format as I have a few of those already. A light weight MusicMan 5H would be my preferred choice but as I said I am open to something different.
Thanks for the offer though.

Since you replaced the onboard preamp, does this still have the push-pull active-passive option on the volume knob? And if so, does it still have a passive tone cut feature on the treble knob when in passive mode?

I might have a trade for you, PM'd.

Thanks for contacting me but I am looking for a bolt on as I like the way bolt on necks sound and a classic single pickup configuration. Probably end up with a MM special as the older ones are quite heavy.
Thanks for asking though.
