Just picked this up- and it is hands down the best P bass I’ve touched-( see my history I’ve had a few)… crazy light at 7.5 lbs low action to die for … very fast B type profile to it… freshly oiled/waxed/set up and new strings… not a bad thing I could say about this one other than I’m pretty much and active guy and really was after a lg jazz bass and unfortunately while this is fantastic I’m not sure I’m a p bass guy…
Asking $3850 shipped usa 48 with hard case…if someone had an Alleva jazz bass I could add cash or potentially another bass on top.Moollon jazzers and other interesting things considered …. Bass was originally built for Brad Dell? Not sure who he is. NYC build …

I had a 5 string AC-Hippy Dippy bass that was a great player. It was the least expensive Alleva-Coppolo bass due to less finish on the body, single pickup and no preamp. But it played great and had a nice light weight for a full sized bass. GLWTS

Awesome, special bass, that hair on the neck heel was from Jimmy's dog that passed away right around the time this bass was built. It got into the finish by accident and Jimmy took it as a good sign for this bass. This was built when Jimmy lived in California, not NYC. I've had 6 different AC P basses and this is in the top two. GLWTS!
