1992 Status Empathy
Putting my Status Empathy 5 string up for trade. Made in the UK in 1992. The "Empathy" model was a step up from the S2 classic, the models are identical with the exception of the Empathy model having a figured maple top and back. Carbon fiber neck through, phenolic fretboard. Insanely low action, lower than pretty much any bass I've ever played and the neck never moves. Sounds amazing as one would expect from a Status.
Currently strung with 45-130 D'addario strings. I installed a ramp between the pickups, I can leave it on or remove it if you'd prefer. The only ding I can find on this bass is on the back and is shown in the pictures.
These are pretty hard to come by in the USA! Comes with the original hardshell case which is also in great shape.
I am only interested in trading this bass for a headless Status. I am willing to add cash on my end for the right one. I will also consider cash offers over $3000.
