Solid little bass here. As someone who owns a MIJ Marcus, and a US V, I can say it’s actually not that far away from my MIJ. At least this one.
Tonally speaking, it’s about dead on. This one probably has more bottom and not as good of mids, but, it’s still pretty damned good. Slap machine as you probably already know.
18v system, factory standard and really high output. Pretty quiet though, overall.
Bass is not perfect (see photos), but, it’s in really great shape and plays beautifully. It’s set up with low action and there’s not a buzz anywhere on this fretboard as of about an hour ago when I was practicing.
Would prefer to sell this one outright, but may entertain trades for a 5er or a nice head. Any questions, let me know. PayPal and Venmo accepted.
