This is a "Tiny Boy" ukulele bass. It is 23" scale, but it plays in the normal bass register (E/A/D/G) and has roundwound strings. I bought it a couple months ago without the benefit of having touched one, kicked the tires for less than an hour, and decided it is not for me. It comes with a pretty decent case.
Make no mistake -- this is not like the vast majority of uke basses, the ones with rubber strings. The most comparable one is the Kala California ubass, which runs $1000 or more.
New it cost me $625. Shipped to you in the original shipping container/packing in the continental US, $450. If you want to pick it up in Austin, TX, knock off $30.
