Wanted to give folks here first chance before listing on Reverb.
From 2011 in the no longer available Bordeaux finish, this bass is in excellent condition. Nary a mark on her and no appreciable fret wear. She's set up as an SB-2T with stacked pot for volume and tone and a blend pot with center detent. She plays and sounds as good as she looks.
I've priced her at what these are going for new now, but figure she's worth that given the inclusion of a good quality gig bag, electronic upgrade and the extremely light weight.
You can get a new one for this price plus tax, but will be stuck with the less attractive - subjective I know - black frost or surf green and you'll likely end up with a 9-10lb. bass.
Why am I, with my cranky old back, putting this in the market? Well, I'm getting close to delivery on the SB-2 USA in Empress that I ordered from Greg at Rocket Music based on how much I loved this one. That should be just as light.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have on this and split shipping cost to you.
Oh, did I mention that this thing is less than 7 and a half pounds?!
