Hello!
Here is an excellent Kasuga EB-3 from 1972, 30.5" scale, considered by many the best of the EB lawsuit basses from Japan. All mahogany, no repairs, no neck break.
The frets have been professionally crowned and are at 100%.
The lacklustre stock pickups have been replaced by custom-wound Curtis Novak pickups, a booming EB-BSx in the neck position and a soaring EB-Bridge below. The bridge pickup with the tone cranked gets into trebly Thunderbird territory, while the neck pickup is classic mudbucker but with greatly improved warmth and clarity. Together they are the perfect combination. Receipts for pickups/crowning available upon request.

Some missing info: Kasuga is 30.5 scale, Ibanez 30
Just curious what the extra dots on the Gary Willis are.
Wish I knew! Mods were done by Bass Trader Sweden, about whom I cannot say enough nice things. They'll bash any bass into the specs you want. But the grey dots are mysterious to me.

Anyone reading this and wondering why the questions appear to be non sequiturs should note that I made this ad a multi-item ad before realizing nobody reads those all the way through because the pictures take forever to load. Sorry!

This would make a lovely half-centennial present for that special bassist in your life (almost certainly yourself). L'chaim!

Whoops! I do have a picture of the back, side, etc, but only posted four because it was originally a group thread. It's a bolt-on with a strap pin just above. I'll add that pic when I find it!

Sorry thought I answered this but I don't see it: it is bolt on. I posted a picture too. Weird.

My first bass (1976) was a Kasuga! Looked just like this one.

I got this as a birth year bass and b/c i just LOVE Novak pickups ... I only found out after the fact that the model is quite respected in its own right as perhaps the best SG knockoff of the era.
