I know I'll regret this later, I was sure I'd keep this forever but I've been bitten hard by the multi-scale bug and need funds so here goes:
- 2009 EBMM Big Al 4 SSS
- 1.5" nut width
- ~9.7 lbs
- Hipshot BT-1 drop tuner installed (the correct one with the short key) but original tuner will be included
- Maple neck with rosewood board and the coveted oil and wax finish. It's the nicest neck I've ever played.
- Truly one of the most versatile basses ever made. Active or Passive switching, 4 band 18v active EQ and a separate passive tone control. 3 individually selectable hum cancelling neodymium pickups that can pretty much get any tone you want and having all pickup selectors off switches the middle and bridge pickups into series mode which sounds absolutely fantastic!
- Factory hard case included
If you are looking at this, you know what these are and how coveted they've become.
There are a few small blemishes I've tried to picture including a very small dimple on the back of the neck at around the first fret that you can barely feel with your thumb, a few scuffs on the pickguard, a small imperfection on the lower horn.
Overall it's in excellent shape for a 12 year old bass. It's pretty much been a case queen. Just had fretwork done right before I acquired it and maybe has 24 hours of playtime on it since then. The only trades I'm interested in are 4 string multi-scales (Dingwalls, Spector Dimension). This is an opportunity to own a fantastic rare bass that can literally do it all!
