Hi! Even though it has one speaker in, can you chain 2 - 8 ohm speakers?
Yes you can, that's how I always run the one I'm using which is my original 750. Got a good deal on the one posted being brand new. Just never used it. I run one 212 stacked on top of a 15 both 8ohm Glockenlangs. But as of now I'll soon be downsizing to a 210 and 212:thumbsup::smug::bassist: Thanks for the inquiry.

Can this amp get an overdriven sound?

I'm not the OP, but I happened across this post and I own a Reidmar 750. Solid piece of gear BTW.

I find that using the Drive knob can do a fine job of introducing some nice overdrive, from subtle to a little hairy. You won't get into Darkglass territory or anything, but IMO it sounds great for what it does.

Great head! Very under rated. I used one with a Berg 2x12 and it sounded amazing!
I got lots of compliments on that rig -

Surprised this hasn't sold yet!! Excellent price for an excellent amp. If I didn't already have one I definitely would buy it!!!

Doesnt that mean youre making 16 ohms? Doesnt that meanao youre getting like what 112.5 watts?

With only a single output on the amp daisy-chaining is the only way to run multiple cabs. Daisy chaining 2 8-Ohm cabs gives you a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms. Unless they have been modIfied they’re wired in parallel, not series…

Can someone verify this? I’ve got other resources that say the opposite. Like YouTube videos and websites etc…

I wanna get this straight before i bite

Most bass cabs (all that I can think of off the top of my head, with the possible exception of certain older combo amps) are wired such that daisy-chaining two with a standard speaker cable puts them in parallel, not series -- two such 8 Ohm cabs, connected thus, present a 4 Ohm load to the amp.

You can buy or make a special cable to connect cabs in series but, reduced power aside, there are complications if you use different cabs.

I don't know what cabs you're thinking to use, but, if you have a question about how they're wired and the result when daisy-chained, you could try pinging the maker. As I understand it, though, the usual suspects (in cabs and speaker cable) should give you a parallel connection when daisy-chained.

Here is an industry standard speaker "daisy chain" output for connection to a second cabinet.

Perhaps if you post pics of your specific situation then an informed consideration can be provided.

8 Ohm + 8 Ohm = 4 Ohm (750 watts + = Safe to use)

4 Ohm + 4 Ohm = 2 Ohm (not safe, amp will blow up)

8 Ohm + 4 Ohm = 2.67 Ohm (not safe, amp will blow)

Also, I don't believe that this EBS R750 is rack mountable. It is meant to fit in your gig bag pocket.

New / unused for $650 makes it a best buy. I just lucked into one (...not to slight the OP / seller!) thru a trade deal and based on reviews only. It does everything well plus it can get loud. Few observations:

*No mute function...live with it.

*Not rack mountable but it does have a handle. I've seen this recommended for an added layer of protection:
