For sale 1985 Fender Jazz Bass Special/ REAL Duff/ Too tough to die!

Read the ad through, and maybe stick a pack of Beeman’s in your shirt pocket, cuz that’s as close to mint as this bass is gonna get…. This thing has been hammered. Lots of dings in the body, headstock got split (epoxied and rock solid), looks like it got dragged behind the tour bus at some point in the late ‘80’s…but it’s mean as hell, plays awesome, weighs about 8 1/2 pounds, is all original, and has the true Duff McKagan sound. Made in Japan in 1985, serial number is low, low A009XXX ( do the homework). TBX tone control, original big polepiece pickups, truss rod works, output Jack is kinda loose, bridge saddles replaced, some tuner screws replaced, Hipshot D tuner installed (don’t have the stock tuner, got destroyed). And yeah, it really does play great.
