I love so much about this bass: the looks, versatility, playability. The shortcoming is me; I hardly ever reach for the fretless and it spends its life in the case. This is a 2005 Carvin LB70PF. I bought it used when I was playing in a band that needed a fretless on a few songs. I didn't play it much then, and even less now. I venture to give it a condition of excellent - minus. There is the slightest ding or knock here and there, and the pole pieces on the bridge pickup have a slight tarnish. When I bought it in 2007 or so, it looked hardly played at all. I can still declare that it is hardly played, which is a shame. Someone should be playing this bass.
It has swamp ash body, black chrome plated hardware, J99, HB2 and piezo pickups, and a lined fretless fingerboard with dots on the facing side. It has some fairly old Thomastik-Infeld jazz flatwounds. All works great.
I am also including the original Carvin case and a few sheets of documentation/ersatz "manual"
