Need to free up some funds. I keep buying modern basses when I know I need/want a classic style bass. So last in, first out.

Beautiful Quilt maple top in Roscoe Red. Straight pickups option. I still have the metal dome knobs. I just didn't like how they were sitting on the Bart split shaft pots.

Birdseye maple Fretboard. Very low action

I don't know the weight but these are rather small basses. I'd guess in that 8-9lb range.

Ash body

Three piece Maple/Purpleheart/Maple neck. You can't tell by the pic because of the sun, but the color is much more amber as the finish has aged.

I had this bass four years ago and sold it and recently bought it back. Unfortunately, it wasn't treated with the same level of care I treated it with.

Also, the finish on the bridge is worn.

Some wear by the saddles too.

You don't feel this at all.

Trade wise, you don't have what I want. I'm selling a few basses, and preamps, to trade up. But if you'd like to try...5 string P/J classic style. 34" scale. I'm selling a few basses to get a Sadowsky (Have you seen that Custom Shop PJ Vintage in Firemist Gold Satin!?) so keep that in mind.
Comes with Roscoe hard case. Price is shipped.

One thing, well there's many good things, I'll say about this bass: I originally thought I wouldn't like it's playability. Being that it's 35" scale and the upper horn falls short of the 12th fret I thought I wouldn't like it. This is the reason I don't like Spectors but I gave it a try anyways. I don't know what it is about this bass or what Keith did, but it's still comfortable to play. I don't notice the longer scale much (except when I hit that B string) or the shorter upper horn. Pretty awesome
