For sale Fender Jazz Bass Neck

Hi do you know what is stripped? Is the nut hex rounded off so you can't turn it with a tool? Or have the threads of the truss-rod stripped so even a replaced nut can't work?

The truss rod turns freely but it's not gripping for the neck to adjust accordingly.

Thanks. Is that a one-piece maple neck? I can't see a line for a separate fingerboard slab.

I wonder if the back part of the rod (under the sticker) could be filled with JB weld or 2 part epoxy in order to keep it from spinning? …..hmmmm :unsure:

Honestly not sure, my local luthier said it wasn’t worth his time to fix it. Figured I’d sell it to someone that has time..
