The P-Bass is likely the most recorded instrument in history. It gained a cult-like following because of its portability and potential for volume. The Fender Precision Bass is heavily responsible for how music is now presented and at its core is just the go-to example of indestructible, musical art. As the first production model bass guitar, the Fender Precision bass was an absolutely revolutionary instrument upon its introduction in 1951. It has been produced without break since then and has remained a standard throughout. This 1978 gem was produced at the famed Fullerton Factory and is oozing MOJO from every pore.
The dings, dents, scuffs and scratches add to the vintage vibe radiating from this bass and only add to the overall vintage vibes radiating from every pore. A little gouge on the side of the neck was repaired and a little over spray on two wear spots on the body was applied to protect the wood. The brass nut was replaced, the secondary string tree removed and a small screw hole was plugged. This PBass has a ultra cool natural light relic feel and is just itching to come out of the case to rock!

It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been dressed/polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
* Neck is perfectly straight and the truss rod works with no issues

*If needed, the frets will be dressed leveled & crowned
