Ok... this is one of my favorite basses I’ve ever owned. It’s an attempted re-creation of the late 70’s maple fretless StingRay basses. It sounds great, looks great, and it would be hard to re-create it... but we need to get a new car. Here’s the info:
  • 2009 EBMM StingRay body w/ original 2-band electronics.
  • Early 2021 Status Graphite fretless neck with special order 1.5” nut width (Jazz bass width). The neck was about $700, including an up charge for the the smaller nut width and also the faux maple phenolic.
  • Hipshot USA Ultralight tuners
  • Comes with original black pickguard, backup pickguard, clear pickguard, and the original black pickup cover.
  • OHSC in excellent condition.
  • Weight... will get tonight. Lighter than other StingRay basses I’ve owned.
  • Strung with EBMM cobalt flats (50-105)
I included a snapshot of the info from the Ernie Ball serial number database showing it’s an original Made in USA bass and not one of the import versions.

This bass is in excellent shape and would cost more than my price, plus all the time and effort to put it together... You’ll not regret this one, and you’ll never see another like it!!!

$1949 shipped CONUS (+$50 west of the Mississippi River)

Correct me if I’m wrong but this is fret less

Definitely out of the norm. I like it. That status neck's gotta be great for mwah tone, but maybe you'd want to save some relief to let the ash attack come through.
