Up for sale is a really cool ‘75 4001. It’s in good condition…. Ignore the fact that I have a zip tie behind the nut, I just put it there to help with break angle of the strings until my fret wrap comes in…
Electronics/tuners/bridge/pots/jacks are all original. The pickguard is a Ric replacement but I have the original. It has a chip missing above the neck pickup at the height adjustment screw. I have the cover as well.
The truss rods have been replaced with stronger, better rods, but the originals will be included as well. There is also what feels like a slight surface crack at the nut. It feels old and hasn’t moved.
The blue felt case is original and in good condition. All latches work and it has a lot of life still left in it. Only selling to fund a dream bass. Only trade I’d be interested in would be old Jazz basses or maybe a custom shop P bass. Asking $3500…. Price drop to $3200…. $2700… $2500 shipped CONUS.
