Details

New LaBella 760-FL Flatwounds.

Price $30. u.s. shipped.

Bought these new, put them on my bass and realized I got the wrong ones. These are the popular 760FL. I should've ordered 760FM as I wanted heavier tension.

I took them off right away and wrapped them up. (The paper cover package though went into the wood stove as I strung my bass in front of the fire.)

Thanks

I'm not familiar with that set, gauge/tension, so probably not.
I was using 760FM's for years which are high tension and not a light gauge. I want a bit less tension now so I tried the FL's (by accident)....they were too thin & floppy for me, so then I tried the 760FS which I like. Same gauge as the FM's but a bit less tension.

What are the Jamerson Med.'s like?

James Jamerson played the heavy gauge strings...52 73 95 110. They are now known as 1954 Originals or Jamersons. I believe they are the same gauge as 760-M
They come in multiple scales...mediums will not fit a precision

Are the 760FL's standard long scale ( standard jazz bass ) ?
Are they still for sale ?

Hey lima, sorry for the delay in a reply, but I didn't notice your question 'till now. To be honest, I've sold a few packs of strings and I'm not 100% sure if these were sold or not. I check and let you know, if you're still interested that is.
