For Sale: Yamaha SLB300 Silent Bass w/stand
Recently purchased here on TB and it has not been out of my studio. Outstanding EUB with Yamaha's proprietary SRT powered preamp with three microphone types, EQ, and blend control. Sounds very close to an upright and plays great. Previous owner put new Pirastro Jazzer strings on the bass and it sounds fantastic. Lots of info and videos on the SLB300 on the Yamaha website and here.
I wanted to keep this bass so badly but I can't quite get used to the SLB300's shorter string length (41 inches) compared to my my upright (43 inches). Passing this wonderful bass with stand ($200 value) along to TB at the same price I picked it up-a substantial discount over a new SLB300. Will ship in Yamaha's original factory soft case.
