I bought this off Reverb a few weeks ago. At the same time, I bought an Ibanez acoustic from a fellow TB'er. The Guild is better looking and has a nicer, model-appropriate gig bag. However, the Ibanez gets more playing time. I don't need two short scale acoustic basses. The Reverb seller failed to mention the smoke smell in the ad. I've aired out the bass and the case, and (to my nose anyway) it has dispersed. However, there may be a whiff of it left depending on your sensitivity. Excellent condition otherwise. Still has plastic film on pickguard.
