These rarely pop up for sale any more. This is an early 2000s MTD Grendel, and is one from the last batch of Grendels that was assembled by Mike and his crew. This one is a little different than other Grendels in that it has an aged tint on the neck and the frets are thinner and much better dressed than any other Grendel I've owned. It certainly shows that this passed through his shop. It's medium to light weight (~8 lbs...I can get a more accurate reading if necessary), is completely original though I currently have MTD pointer knobs installed, and comes with OEM MTD-branded TKL zero gravity case. Also, it's in fantastic condition for a 20 year old bass--only some light honest wear (e.g., small dings on headstock, etc)
