Well cared for and in excellent condition. Set up for Jazz and Bluegrass. Adjustable bridge. Projects well across all strings and nice tone with good sustain.

Includes Fishman BP-100 Upright Bass Pickup and well padded case.

Local pickup only. SF Bay Area.

I don’t know the history of Klusen other than they went out of business in the 80’s before restarting or even that these were Klusen tuners. So do you think this bass is older than ‘81? How do you tell?

Neuroman, i run an Engelhardt database Would you care to share a pic of the label for my database/registry? Also, take a close look inside for a date stamp anywhere on the back, or even on a side rib.

No problem. Use the serial number pic I posted. I will try to look for date stamp too. What am I looking for?

Thanks, you are looking for a date stamp somewhere on the inside back or on a side rib area. You may have to take your time and look slowly with a light and maybe even a mirror. It’ll be small approx 2-3 inches long. Here is an example.
