Up for sale is an absolutely MINT condition Ampeg V4B bass head. I purchased this Ampeg brand new the end of Oct. 2018 and it remained in the box in my basement until May of this year when I finally took it out to play it. This amp may have 10 hours on it. With an 810 Ampeg Cabinet, it sounds stunning and delicious! (I just sold the cabinet last week...broke my heart to sell the matching cabinet and this amp) I love this amp; FAT, tube bass cannot be beat, but it's something I must do. Anyway, I wanted one for years, but on November 1, 2018 I had an accident that caused an aneurysm at the base of my heart, so my heart surgeon will not allow me to pick up anything over 30 pounds, and this amp is about 50 pounds. Now all of my gear is ultralight, and it just doesn't sound the same. As you probably know, you can't get these from Ampeg right now (and who knows how long it will be, if ever, before they make more). Ampeg is THE gold standard in bass amps, and these don't last long on this site in this condition.
I am willing to ship insured FedEx Ground within the United States for $60.00 If it cost more to ship, I will pay the additional cost. This amp will be shipped in the original Ampeg box and packing. I have a kitten who is teething, so he did chew on the top flap on the box a little, but not the amp, only the box, but I felt I needed to mention it as full disclosure.
