Beautiful XXL Dano style Convertible guitar. XXL is a Canadian guitar company from luthier Marc Lupien. He makes mostly Danelectro style guitars and basses but with premium woods instead of masonite. This particular guitar is a Convertible. It has a sound hole but is electric. Although it is fun to play on the couch unamplified. The body is a heavily chambered cedar core with a book matched mahogany top and back. Multi laminate maple neck with mahogany stripes. Honduras Rosewood fretboard. Two Seymour Duncan Lipstick pick ups with a 3 position switch. One volume, one tone. The pickups are RW/RP wound so they are hum cancelling when both are on in the middle position. Danelectro adjustable bridge. It's a very versatile guitar. It's got that country twang and sounds great overdriven. Ships in a Levy's gig bag that came with the guitar.
