Want a rig that will crack foundations and break windows at 100 paces???
Then put an 800-watt head on top of these bad boys and you've got it!

These are the legendary Greenboy fEARful cabs. No further introduction needed.
If you are not familiar with these cabs, please have a look in the TalkBass
forums or check out the Speaker Hardware website, kits section.
Built them myself (I am a meticulous woodworker!) about 8 years ago.
Have been gigged only a couple of dozen times - and never abused.

These cabs are PRICED TO SELL! Price is for BOTH cabs.
Nothing wrong with the cabs, but they need to go to a new home very soon.

Just the parts kits (no assembly) at Speaker Hardware would be over $1,000!

Local pickup ONLY (SW Houston). Price is for the pair. Sold as the pair only.

Specs for the 15/6/1 cab (Note: PE = Penn Elcom):
Built to Greenboy specifications. 12mm Baltic birch, PL adhesive, DuraTex finish.
Eminence Kappalite 3015LF woofer, 18Sound 6NM410 mid, 18Sound XD125 tweeter.
PE handles on sides and top. PE corner protectors. PE rubber feet.
Has all the internal bracing and speaker stuffing.
Has both Neutrik and 1/4" input connections in the PE dish on rear panel.
Switches (in dish) to turn midrange and tweeter on/off and/or attenuate by -3dB.
Crossovers are Greenboy spec. Parts probably purchased from Speaker Hardware,
though memory fails me on this. No L-pad. Custom-made steel grill, mounted with
foam strips so it won't rattle. Approx 21"w x 31.5"h x 16.5"d Don't have a
scale, but weight is typical for this cab, probably 55-60 lbs.
Best of all...official Greenboy badge on the grill!

Specs for the 15sub cab:
Built to Greenboy specifications. 12mm Baltic birch, PL adhesive, DuraTex finish.
Eminence Kappalite 3015LF woofer. PE handles on sides and top. PE corner protectors.
PE rubber feet. Internal bracing and stuffing. Has both Neutrik and 1/4" input
connections in the PE dish. Switch (in dish) to turn internal crossover on/off
(for sub use with/without 15/6/1 cab). Crossover is Greenboy spec. Parts probably
purchased from Speaker Hardware, though don't remember for sure. Custom-made steel
grill, mounted with foam strips so it won't rattle.
Approx 21"w x 24.5"h x 19.5"d
Don't have a scale, but weight is typical for this cab, probably 35-40 lbs.
Official Greenboy badge on grill.

The 15/6/1 will sit very nicely on top of the sub. Put your amp head on top and
let the mayhem begin (this rig brought the police to a club one night - true story).

Note to anyone who viewed an earlier version of this post: The amp rack mentioned
has been sold and is on its way to a good home.
But I have another amp head available if needed for an audition.

Would prefer a Paypal transaction. That would reserve the equipment for you and
protect us both. You are welcome to inspect everything in person, and I would
refund your money if you decided against a purchase.

If you wish, you can audition the cabs with either my amp/bass or your own.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any full-volume audition would have to be VERY brief, as I live in an
extremely quiet townhome community.
Don't want to deal with the gendarmes again!

Wow! Beautiful work on those cabs and that’s an insane price. I have a 12/6/1 and it’s plenty powerful for a club gig, I can only imagine what those two can do. GLWTS!

Thanks, muggsy! I also built a 12/6 cube and you are correct, it _is plenty for most club gigs.
And you are also correct about the insane price. Someone in TX is going to get an amazing deal!

frick... If I lived in Ft. Worth, I'd already be driving... 8 hours round... or thereabouts... or to (badly) paraphrase FM... Thunder only happens when it's fEarful...
yep - but it's my sister who is in Ft. Worth, and driving north to Wisconsin in a few weeks. I don't think I have enough sibling credits built up to convince her to drive to pick this up for me!
