Letting go of this well-played MTD 535/21 from 1997/98. It has obviously seen a lot of gigs in the last 25 years, and if you pick it up, you’ll know why! Great player with the classic, articulate MTD tone: solid wenge neck and fretboard with optional fretboard dots. Combined with the 2-tone burst finish on the solid avidore (satinwood) body, it has a classic look that fits into a gospel or a monster concert .
My friend did a touch air spry touch up . Check the pictures.

Comes with Hipshot hardware and MTD custom spec Bartolini pickups and preamp, along with the MTD hard shell case.

Weight is 8.8 lb. Scale length is 35”, with 19mm spacing at the bridge and 1.75” width at the nut.

Full price buyers will includes shipping only USA , not included Hawaii or Puerto Rico

Bass has sold. But, last time I used PayPal for a sell (not friends and family) the buyer had my item for over a week before acknowledging receipt. And, also had to be happy with it (so to speak) before PayPal released the funds to me. PayPal is trying to turn transactions into a reverb or Guitar Center type situation where buyers can try out gear, get buyer’s remorse, etc and then get a full refund at the seller’s expense. That was the last time I accepted PayPal for a sizable buyer/seller transaction. Friends and family is still okay, except I hear that there will still be taxes to be paid to the good ol’ IRS.
