Action is low with no buzzing. No issues electronically or anywhere else. I recently switched the strings out to .040-.125. Truss rod was adjusted and works fine.
When I bought it, it weighed 10lb but I installed Gotoh GB350 ultralight tuners and that knocked a 1/2lb off the bass. Full disclosure, the GB350 tuners are a slightly smaller footprint than the originals and on the G string there is a slight area where the black finish doesn't quite cover all that it needs to whereas the original tuner covered that area. See the closeup of the back of the headstock for details. Should be an easy fix with a marker if it bothers you.
I have spent some time with a fodera singlecut and can honestly say that tonally and playing-wise, this bass hangs with the fodera really well. Here are the specs:
Body
Shape: Omega
Back: Brazilian Premium Cedar
Top: Qulited Maple
Neck
Wood: Hard Maple / Maple/Brazilian Ipê/Maple
Fingerboard : Brazilian Rosewood
Inlay: MOP Blocks
Frets: Alpaca Jumbo
34" scale
19mm string spacing at bridge
Electronics
Pickups: D’Mark PRO IGA Noiseless
Preamp: D’Mark Custom Shop 3-band with blend control
Miscellaneous
Weight - originally 10lbs, 9.5lb with the ultralight tuners.
Upgraded with GB350 tuners
Upgraded with ramp. The ramp is made out of black resin
Action is low with no buzzing. Approximately 1.5mm (at the 12th) on the G string and 2mm on the B string
Includes Gig bag.
