For sale 1985 Alembic Distillate

I’m selling my 1985 Alembic Distillate to fund a Birds Eye Maple Distillate. I love this instrument.and I love its tone.I’ve had many Alembic’s and I keep coming back to the Distillate.
Is has a 32” Medium Scale, Bocate top,Satin finish, Mahogany Body and the neck is Maple and Purple Heart.The drop tuner was put in by Alembic and I have never used it. There are aftermarket LED’s with a battery pack on the back of the headstock .These can be removed with no damage to the instrument.
This year has a unique upper horn and balances nicely. It does have a few nicks and scratches which comes with the territory of a 37 yr old instrument.the case on the outside is in poor condition. I put a new handle on it and secured it from the inside. The case is in good condition on the inside.
Overall I would give this Bass a B+
The Bass lives in Myrtle Beach SC and will gladly meet an hr or 2 at the most.
