Greetings TB'ers,
For sale or possible trade is my Brimstone Audio XD-2 in pristine condition. No longer in production, this is a multiband overdrive/distortion pedal, which splits the frequencies into low and high bands each with their own gain controls. Crossover point is adjustable, as is the "mix" between low and high.
Unlike sooo many OD's I've tried that suck low end, even those with a blend knob, this has NO low end loss (unless you want it), the Thump knob can add even more. Boost switch activates an adjustable amount of boost for each side, so you can boost only the low gain, only the high, or both. A better rundown by the venerable JohnK: XD1
Unparalleled adjustability. Essentially like a Darkglass X7 on steroids, this things sounds absolutely massive. My HX Stomp can do most of what this can do, but not as easily and nowhere near as nicely. Tradeoffs.
Speaking of tradeoffs, I'd be interested mostly in drives from Broughton, Dunwich, Reiner, COG, Spaceman, or Hamstead. Otherwise:
$220 shipped CONUS.
Thanks for looking!
