This is the cleanest Jazz Bass from this era you will likely ever see, a true time capsule. Purchased from the original owner, there is not a touch of tarnish on the chrome pieces. It was never gigged and wiped down each time after being handled. The only marks are on the pickguard from the pickup cover. Includes OHSC in similarly great condition.
Looks aside, it plays and sounds great with a nice slim but chunky neck. The body is a beautifully figured three-piece.
The serial number dates to 1973 but the pots date to December 1974, so I would consider it a 74.
Neck pickup reads 6.92 and bridge reads 7.27
Weighs 10.6 lbs by the bathroom scale
I'm open to trades+cash for any old Fender basses.
Thanks for looking and please reach out with any questions. Local pickup in the Chicago area. Willing to drive a few hours to meet though.
