Details

Just got this recently here. As new condition, and a super solid bass.
Changed the hardware to hipshot ultralight tuners and a aluminum model A bridge. Changed the pickup to a quarter pounder.
Bass weights 8lbs, and plays/sounds awesome. The tuner change also cured neck dive. Ill also include a worn, but functional bag. Did not come with one.
Shipping to the lower 48 only. Payment by venmo please, don't have PayPal.
Due to Shipping costs, ill split shipping with buyer. Plan on 50-75 depending on location.

This is for sale ONLY, so please don't ask about trades.

An 8lb 5 string p bass from
A great seller. This shouldn’t last long. First sire 5 modded or not that I have seen this light. Would be tempted to pick it up if not for the roasted maple board. I had a Sandburg super light with one and couldn’t see the darn side dots on a dark stage. Old people problems..

Thanks for the kind words.
I have 2 p5's, and I just picked up a human bass Roxy. I'm not gigging as much, and have wst too much gear not being used

Still available.
There was nothing wrong with the bass when I got it, other than neck dive. The tuners fixed that, and I had other parts already. Had I not found the human bass, I would be keeping it.

Do you know the string spacing at the bridge and the nut width is on this? I have a G&L JB-5 and love the string spacing. My Fender P5 is a little wider in both spots and not as playable.

18mm spacing. I dont know the nut width, you may be able to get it on the sire site. The bass is at a store on consignment

Surprised this is hanging around, you should put the weight in the thread title.
Do people tend to want lighter basses? I’m new to bass (guitarist) and keep seeing weight as a super common concern. Also bridge width (or is it nut width)… and string spacing. I’m hoping to figure it out sooner or later and compare it to my bass and think of what my preferences would be
