I took this off the market about a year ago (just couldn't convince myself to sell her) , but I need to raise some funds so it is up for sale again. For Sale is this amazing 2000 Sadowsky NYC Standard 5 JJ Bass. This is a solid body ash body with an AAAAA Quilt top (single-coil pickups). The finish is caramel and the weight is right at 8 lbs. Nut width is 1 7/8ths. It has an body, quilt top, maple neck, and maple fingerboard. This is an NYC and not a metro bass so it was made in the USA. This particular bass comes witb VTC and is volume, volume, tone, stacked bass/treble boost, and active passive switch for ultimate tone control. Roger himself made this upgrade and signed the plate cover. Original electronics will be shipped with bass (no issues). All work and set up done in Roger's NYC Shop. Take a look at the photos she is a beauty. Frets and playability are amazing on this one. The tone is to kill for. I would rate the overall condition conservatively as 9.25/10 shape with no flaws that I can see. In amazing shape for a 22 year old bass. She sounds great active or passive. She weighs just 8.02 lbs. Comes with the Sadowsky Gigbag that is pictured and highly protective. Whoever gets this one won't regret it. Solid body light weight ash basses rare show up these day.
