Up for sale is my pride and joys: MTD 635-24. Thinning the hurd.
This bass was my primary player for all gospel, r&b, pop, country, rock and jazz gigs. Records amazing as well. Very warm yet bright when needed. Very sad at the moment writing this but gotta pay rent!!
My seller record will tell you how trusted of a seller I am on this forum.
Years of experience selling, not one complaint from any of my buyers.
When I post something for sale, it means your getting a good deal, period. My loss, your gain!!
Built on: Nov. 2017 (literally, brand new).
Body: African Mahogany (pronounced mid range like a jazz bass).
Top: Highly figured Myrtle Burl (gives bass warmth)
Neck: Maple with Titanium Inserts (gives the attack of the bass a bouncy flavor like wenge).
Fretboard: African Blackwood (a cross between ebony and rosewood).
Ramp: Detachable flat ramp made of African Blackwood.
Bridge: 18 mm.
Scale: 35inch. Feels like 34, I swear.
Weight: probably 9 pounds.
Knobs: Matching top knobs included.
Etc: Hand rubbed natural finish, buzfeiten tuning, proprietary MTD pre and pus, luminlay side dots, and MTD gigbag.
The tone is amazing. Very midrange centric naturally, and lots of warmth and low end and smooth piano-like highs. Snappy when you increase the treble. Preamp is amazingly transparent. The titanium inserts actually give the slap tone a "bounce" to it, making it sound like wenge. Thus, this bass has it all- modern yet defined p bass like warm low and low mids and a jazz bass slap tone for high mids and highs. Perfect for studio musicians who play various genres and need a full spectrum of tone!
Freebies: Comes with MTD protec gig bag, all the paperwork, and a free pack of MTD stainless steel strings. Thats right, a free pack of brand new strings!!!
This is alot in terms of specs your getting, so get it while you can!!!
