JMJ Mustang with a 1967 DeArmond Gold Foil in the neck position and Serek B90 in the bridge position! All work done by luthier Dave Petillo who many of the biggest names in music trust with their guitars. A 3 way toggle switch solos the gold foil or the B90 and in the center position both pickups are in use.

I went from playing full time pre covid to being a weekend warrior post covid. I just dont need all the instruments I once regularly used for recording/playing live.

Totally. I've watched Xavier's stuff about that modded JMJ a bunch. I love the sound he gets. I don't love that metallic fuscia color he ended up painting it, but who cares what I think! and it sounds killer for sure!

I'm super curious about what that gold foil sounds like on the JMJ, tho!

bummer. I'm over here scrubbing YT up and down for a clip of a mustang with a gold foil in the bridge position sound sample... I'm so curious about that sound!
