Hello,
Modulus Q5 for sale, circa 2000. Plays real nice, no issues.
I'm just looking to get out of it what I got into it. $2900 shipped CONUS.
Specs:
- 35" scale
- 8.86 pounds on a postal scale, I'd just call it 9.
- Flamed maple top over alder finished in green/blue burst, some call it DragonBurst (?)
- phenolic fingerboard, KLD (1000 ladies dancing) graphite neck, Neck has a truss rod.
- 1 7/8" at the nut
- 2 3/4" at the last "fret" (17mm spacing at the bridge, adjusted to about 17.5 presently-max for that bridge/neck)
- Bartolini GCM45CX dual-coil pickups in the neck and bridge position
- Bartolini 3-band active electronics (volume/balance/mids/concentric bass-treble)
- 18v
- Black Gotoh GB7 tuners
- Black aluminum ABM fully adjustable bridge (can have about a 17.5mm wide spacing at the bridge)
- Black Dunlop strap buttons
(EDIT regarding hardware, my miss)) Note: Hardware was changed to black by previous owner, it originally came with gold hardware. I have most previous gold hardware; tuners, knobs, strap buttons and jackplate will be included in case you want to change back, * I do not have a Gold Bridge (assumption is it initially had a gold one?). I was going to change the hardware to gold but never got around to it, I liked the gold look personally on another I had. They will come with the bass.
- currently has String Joy Med Lights on it.
The back of the neck is clean. Finish is clean aside from expected swirl from player use, however, there is a small top inclusion chip in the poly layer on the lower horn, I have taken a picture and circled area, it was like this when I got it here from another TB Member.
Will ship CONUS only in a very beat up Hard shell case inside a Box, will be packed well. I marked up those pics too - the case does protect the bass. Note: I do not know if this was actually the original case.
