Nothing too dissimilar. Went with Flexocore Deluxes. My bass couldn't handle many strings when it was new, but now that it's close to 3 years broken in I can go a bit brighter.

I love FDs, but unfortunately, my bass doesn't. They sound pretty good on it but are a bit too wolfy. Maybe in a few years I can come back to them. If I need more BCs I'll check in with you. Thanks for the info!
