For sale, sorry no trade, Fender American Original 60's Precision Bass Sunburst Color
Manufactured in Sept 2018 on the first year this bass model was released. The bass comes with the wonderful sounding Pure Vintage '63 split-coil P Bass pickup, a "1963 C"-shaped neck profile, 1.75" wide and 9.5"-radius fingerboard. On the topic of radius, this is the only vintage style wide neck bass available as the two generations before had 7.25 radius and the generation after is on a 7.25 radius too. If you prefer a more modern radius on your basses and want the vintage tone, this is the bass!
Weight is 8.5 lbs. Comes with Fender Flat wound strings.
All original, comes with case, pickup and bridge covers (never installed) and the small Fender zipper black bag. The paperwork and keys to the case are not included.
The bass plays well and sounds great as well. It's a wonderful instrument, the neck is large but fits well in the hand. It's smaller than the American Vintage 63 but rounder than current US model or Road Worn. It's a grooving machine and the bassy pickup plays right into this.
The bass has a few hairlines marks on the back online visible up-close under the right light.
There are a few marks near the bridge from changing strings but no major mark on the body or headstock. Any white marks visible on the pictures are reflections from the ceiling or the camera.
The case is very clean and free of fragrances or pet hair.
