Details

2000 Special Edition Warwick Corvette Standard. Apparently this is a FNA Jazzman BUT... the correspondence from Hans-Peter Wilfer from Warwick says it's Corvette Standard.

1 of (100-120) made for Guitar Centers 36th anniversary. This one was bought at the GC in North Olmstead OH (Cleveland)

I am the 2nd owner. The original owner modified it replacing the stock tuners with Gotoh Reso-Lites.

The original pickups were replaced with a set of Aguilar AG 4JM-HC (4M/J-HC) and the original preamp was replaced with a Darkglass Tone Capsule.

She shows signs of use but has been well taken care of.

Weigh is 8lbs 13oz and balances very well.

I emailed Warwick and this is the information I was given by Hans-Peter Wilfer:

*Note here he says the fretboard is wenge but it's actually maple. The neck itself is 5pc wenge/ovangkol*

Good move upgrading the electronics and pickups. I had a predecessor to this bass. Back in the day, it was the Corvette FNA Jazzmzn. Some different woods here too. Good bass and good luck with the sale.

I've never seen a wenge board this bright, is that spec correct? (I have maple and wenge boards, both great to play on)

wenge does come in a whitish variant but it's usually a cream/yellow kinda deal. This looks more like maple with a little flame in it.

That's a good catch! No the board is maple. The neck is a 5 pcs they just mis quoted it there.

Updating now, thanks!
Whatever maple they use, it resonates very well. My CV is acoustically louder than any other bass I have, GLWS! someone will really enjoy this!
