Supro Huntington II (with piezo) in perfect shape. Mahogany finish. Comes with a basic, but functional, padded gig bag. Upgrades address the only deficiencies with these otherwise wonderful short scale basses:

- Hipshot tuners installed
- “Light switch” pots swapped out for quality components.

Asking $800 shipped in in the CONUS.

No battery, entirely passive. With piezo engaged, it's like an effect -- adds some snap to what you're playing but lows are reduced. I find it mildly useful on occasions. It's a nice to have, but not a need to have as the pickups in these basses are sweet.

I wanted this bass when it first came out, but then I heard there was an issue with the E String being a little "wonky". (lower output or warbley sounding?). Then they stopped making them, and I thought maybe that was why.
If you don't mind, may I ask the reason for selling?

I read the same thing about the E being lower output. Not an issue with this bass. I wonder if those folks understood how to adjust pickups properly? :cool:

I’m selling to only to thin the herd. I’ve got another in a different color so this one is moving on to be appreciated by someone else.

I see, thanks. You may be right about the pick ups.
I'm just north of the border, so unless I get down to Florida this winter and you still have it, I'll have to hunt one down up here. GLWTS.
